You'll play a key role leading the fastest revenue generating Sales team in British Airways. Managing a team of account managers, you'll be accountable for 220 corporate relationships, with a combined annual spend of £250 million. Focussing on developing existing clients and new business, you'll take a creative approach to growing our revenue stream even further. We have ambitious targets. So you'll need to be an ambitious individual.
British Airways is one of the global aviation industry's leading brands. You'll be instrumental to our ongoing growth. You'll be the proactive leader of a team of sales managers, some based in the field, others in the office. Influencing and inspiring their performance, you'll recruit, train and develop exceptional account managers. Managing forward thinking projects and initiatives, you'll realise exciting changes.
We'll look to you to build strong relationships with our valued corporate customers and business partners in the UK. You'll maximise revenue contribution from the portfolio through your devotion to the customer. As well as forging long term strategic relationships, you'll help to shape our corporate sales strategy. Keeping a close focus both on your team's performance and that of the competition, you'll always be one step ahead.
A driven, accountable and empowering manager, you lead performance by example. Whether you're communicating a clear vision to your team, coaching an individual to achieve targets, or negotiating with a customer at director level, you'll bring exceptional influencing skills to the role. Naturally, you'll demonstrate excellent commercial acumen, knowledge of the travel industry and good strategic planning skills. Of course we'll also expect you to have a varied track record across sales, revenue delivery and implementing change.
