Our client is a leading supplier of electrical and mechanical solutions and services. They are now seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team.
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for increasing our client's sales through effectively selling their mechanical and electrical services to businesses throughout London. Specifically, you will review our client's processes and recommend changes to ensure the company's objectives and targets are met.
Operating as an integral member of the team, you will improve the success ratio of PQQs, estimates and tenders and identify new customers and opportunities to enhance existing business. You will also manage marketing system audits and work with the website host to develop effective eshot marketing campaigns.
Additionally, you will oversee a team of two consisting of a Trainee Account Manager and a PQQ specialist and follow-up on enquires regarding PQQ's, tenders, estimates and prices. You will also assist with the management of corporate days to ensure their smooth running.
Your other duties will include:
- Reviewing and developing an effective marketing strategy alongside the CEO and Marketing Co-ordinator
- Participating in exhibitions
- Attending 'meet the buyers' promotions
To be considered, you must have:
- At a minimum, two years' sales experience
- IT literacy
- A driving licence
As a Business Development Manager, you must be driven, articulate and focused on meeting and exceeding targets. Tenacious and self-disciplined, you must be highly presentable with the attitude and ability to impress customers.
