EASTERN REGION SALES MANAGER
In control of Eastern Hemisphere Sales
Reports to Executive Vice President Global Sales and Business Development

-All Account Managers and Sale Representatives in Europe and Africa, will report to you!
-Inside Sales Supervisor UK
-Territorial sales and product coverage in assigned regions for:
oProduction and Drilling Chokes Manual and Actuated
oSpecialty Control Valves Manual and Actuated
oSubsea Production Chokes
oIndividual Valve Component Parts
-In conjunction with the VP, establish and manage annual sales and expense budgets for assigned territory, and ensure targets are met.
-Evaluate the competitive environment on a continual basis, and strategize the acquisition of new customers/business opportunities.
-Maintain/grow business with existing customers through strong customer relations.
-Pro-actively communicate with peers and head office colleagues concerning pertinent market and customer intelligence related to pricing, specifications, market and product development trends, etc.
-Participate with Master Flo Executive in the development of broad sales and marketing strategies.
-Direct Sales Team regarding sales strategies and objectives.
-Evaluate market opportunities with respect to fit for Master Flo applications.
-Present recommendations and strategies on how to penetrate existing and new markets.
-Seek to influence a positive position for Master Flo products during project specification stage.
-Effectively troubleshoot customer issues, and rectify concerns in a pro-active manner.
-Monitor bid and proposal activity. Provide assistance with the preparation, presentation, and negotiation of quotations as required.
-Ensure that Company interests, proprietary and confidential information, and property is protected to the fullest extent.
-Maintain a high level of technical understanding of Master Flo product lines. Develop and deliver technical presentations.
-Continually assess the market with respect to future trends, industry requirements and competitor activity.
-Complete regular and detailed sales reports and submit as directed.
-Minute and action any issues with respect customer concerns/ complaints, scope change, etc.
-Maintain detailed contact database.
-Coordinate and represent Master Flo at industry gatherings as required.
-Provide input to product development initiatives.
-Regular travel to fulfill responsibilities.
-University Degree or Post Secondary Diploma in Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering, or equivalent amount of experience and education.
-Ten years technical sales experience in the oil and gas industry, with a proven track record for penetrating markets and effective customer relations.
-Extensive supervisory/management experience in a technical sales environment.
-Strong knowledge of production chokes, speciality control valves, actuation and industry applications.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills, high level of self motivation, strong self organization and time management abilities.
-Expertise in coordinating bid and proposal activity.
-Able to travel.
-Proficient in office communications and software.
