Our client is a leading supplier of school wear, work wear, leisurewear and sportswear. They are now seeking a Sales Office Supervisor to join their team.
This is the ideal opportunity for an ambitious, target-orientated and customer-focused sales professional with sales office supervisory experience looking to join a leading company. As a Sales Office Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing pivotal support to the Sales Order Takers and Customer Service Team and overseeing their activities. Ensuring the team is motivated and driven to meet and exceed targets and objectives, you will also make sure orders are accurately processed in an efficient and timely manner.
Maintaining and promoting superb, personal relationships with customers, you will update them regarding the status of their orders and provide them with immediate feedback on stock shortages. You will lead by example to ensure the effective promotion of the company and the successful up-selling of products.
Additionally, you will perform regular briefing sessions to keep the team informed of promotions, outline targets that have been set and provide updates regarding the team and company performance. Key to the role is the creation of a positive atmosphere to ensure optimised sales performance and functionality.
Your other duties will include:
- Liaising with other departments to ensure orders are processed and dispatched within agreed timeframes
- Liaising with the warehouse during busy periods to ensure the correct prioritisation of orders
To be considered, you must have:
- A proven track record of working within a sales team in an office environment
- Sales office supervisory experience
- A good level of IT literacy
As a Sales Office Supervisor, you must have strong written and verbal communication skills and superb motivation and leadership abilities. Personable and team-oriented, you must have excellent listening and negotiation skills and the willingness to go the extra mile to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
