Working within the STOP Diabetes study team, you will provide research support and co-ordinate the day-to-day running of the STOP Diabetes study.
You will also assist the wider research group with the current programme of research being conducted, by undertaking independent research under guidance, direction and supervision and undertaking clearly defined research tasks according to agreed protocols.
The STOP Diabetes study aims to assess the feasibility of screening people with learning disabilities for undiagnosed diabetes. A further aim is to develop and test an education programme that is suitable for supporting people with learning disabilities (and carers) to find out more about healthy lifestyles.
