To carry out this role you must have good communication skills both verbal and written, a good knowledge of welfare benefits and the ability to work under pressure as part of a team to meet the demands of the service.

Further information about the working hours:
The role involves sleep in cover of seven days with 14 hours of support work over a two week rota. You may be expected to work three nights on and four nights off, then four nights on and three nights off (this is subject to change, depending on the needs of the service).
Hours may include the following: a minimum of two hours support per shift, between 7pm and 10.30pm (including a 1.5 hour unpaid break) and then sleep in from 10.30pm to 7am the following day. The support hours will be paid at plain time again, this is subject to change, depending on the needs of the service).
*If you have a second job that requires working in the day and are successful for this role, you are required to follow the Working Time Regulations (WTR) at all times. The WTR applies across all of your current jobs, so you must calculate your total working time and rest breaks over all of them to adhere to this regulation*
