The post is a Programme Officer and you’ll be in the Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights Unit of the Programme department.
Plan UK is currently recruiting for a Programme Officer. The post is a dynamic one, the purpose of which is to play a central role in the development and delivery of strategy, including project identification, proposal development, management and monitoring and evaluation of SRHR projects and programmes, and bidding for and managing the delivery of SRHR contracts.
The successful candidate will have experience of working in the international development sector contributing to the development and delivery of a robust SRHR programme strategy, providing technical support to national and international organizations. You will also have experience of successful proposal development and the management of grants, including reporting to key institutional funders, such as (e.g. UNFPA, EU, DFID).
It’s a permanent contract, and it’s a full-time post at 34.5 hours a week [we finish at 4.30pm on a Friday].
The usual recruitment rate for this post (Grade 3) is £33,298 with future pay progression within the pay band from £33,298 to £35,998.
We have a generous annual leave entitlement which starts at 25 days (plus public holidays) for new starters. It goes up to 30 once you’ve been with us for 6 years.
