Background Information:
We are looking to recruit a highly motivated and creative Operations
Manager to join a small but growing independent charity in the Cheshire area.
This is a brand new role created due to an exciting period of growth for the
organisation and would be perfect for someone wanting to lead an existing
strong and successful team, whilst also putting their own creative stamp on the
position.
This is an excellent, successful organisation that provides vital services
to children and young people in the Cheshire area and they have just won some
new major contracts on the back of their recent work. Their new Operations
Manager will work closely with the Chief Executive to deliver these contracts,
managing a team of dedicated professionals and improving operations and
performance where possible.
The operations manager will play a significant role in long-term planning
geared towards operational excellence, so our candidate will need to be
strategically minded and performance driven. The organisation offers innovative
services and activities for children and young people and we would therefore
like our candidate to have some knowledge and experience of issues surrounding
safeguarding.
You will also have experience of managing and motivating a workforce and
will have developed and implemented organisational policies, procedures and
systems to ensure that services are delivered effectively and to budget. You
will also be required to ensure that all activities are carried out and comply
with legislative, statutory and contractual requirements including the Quality
Assurance Framework (again, knowledge in this area would be highly desirable).
