Branch Manager Salary: up to £25,000 Dependent On Experience Location: Crawley, West Sussex
Do you want to join an award-winning business in the automotive trade? Our client is the 3rd largest distributor of paint and related materials to the UK vehicle body repair market, and one of the UK`s fastest growing distributors in its field.
An opportunity has arisen for the right candidate to join their team as a Branch Manager in Crawley, one of their 8 branches. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will liaise with all levels of staff within the group, plus customers and suppliers. In a growing organisation like this, the personal & professional growth potential is fantastic.
You`ll be required to organise the running of the branch and manage all operations and warehouse staff. You will oversee and assist your team in a variety of tasks, including producing invoices and credit notes, handling orders, booking out products and ensuring all customer deliveries arrive correctly & in the expected time frame. You will need to have a good understanding of the customer locations and inter-branch organisation. Within the warehouse you may be required to use a forklift, pick orders and identify stock discrepancies, plus manage the maintenance log and monitor the up-keep of the vans. This is a very varied role and will suit a candidate with previous experience of working within an operations team and managing a small team.
The ideal candidate will have good keyboard skills, be numerate and literate. This is a customer-facing role so good customer service is essential, as are strong communication skills and an ability to resolve all day-to-day issues. The ideal Branch Manager will also need to be extremely well organised.
