Background Information:
The Plan Managers business unit administers and manages employee share plans on behalf of their clients. The range of products in this area spans companywide employee share incentive schemes through to international executive plans. Roles in this area include financial administrators, management, and relationship manager positions as well as technical roles in the implementation team.

The implementation team  manages both new and repeat events as part of the of the lifecycle of  client driven plan management. The department consists of  the following teams and roles: project management, event delivery management, business analysis, dealing analsys, data analysis and testing.

Main Purpose of the Role 
The role of the EDM is to work as part of a team taking responsibility for project management of client events and the maintenance of relationships with the client.
 Key Responsibilities
For each Client / Project principle tasks may include:
  • Manage the events/ projects for a portfolio of clients or single large client
  • Co-ordination with other parts of the Computershare business (e.g. Technology Services, Communication Services, within Plan Managers) and Third party suppliers
  • Understanding project scope and managing client expectations and complying with SLAs
  • Attendance of project/review meetings and delivery of actions arising
  • Agreement with client of the detailed project timetable/plan
  • Review/monitor progress against plan
  • Identifying and managing risks
  • Dealing with high £GBP values
  • Ensure that full end to end testing is completed for events managed
  • Briefing internal/external contacts on the impact of and status of Plan events
  • Ensure that relevant logs/planners are updated
  • Establishing appropriate sub-contracts with suppliers in accordance with agreed Company policy/client specifications
  • Provide support for client and employee presentations
  • Ensuring the management of event related data as appropriate

The role could be summarised as 1/3rd project management; 1/3rd client liaison and 1/3rd technical.  It provides an opportunity to work with prestigious clients and deliver high profile, high value projects/events.

  • Good organisational & planning abilities, e.g. sound time management
  • An ability to work as part of a team
  • Excellent customer service skills, e.g. Examples of exceeding customer expectations
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail, e.g. Preparation/proof reading of participant documentation or balancing/reconciliation of data loads or reporting
  • Reliability, e.g. Ability to meet challenging targets in short time-frames or track record of decision making, problem solving or overcoming challenges
  • Professional and courteous approach, e.g. Experience of dealing with clients and/or senior managers
  • PC literate, e.g.  Systems used for testing for example.

Desirable Skills, Experience and Competencies 
    Previous experience of project based work is desirable but not essential
    Previous experience in the business of using technology to deliver business solutions
    Previous experience in any financial or business services based organisation
    Previous experience in a team leader/supervisory/relationship role

Previous experience of share plan administration is not a specific requirement for this position.  Applications would be welcomed from candidates with any relevant background.
 Specific Key Benefits of the role
Salary:  £17,000 - £25,000
